Cook Islands: Easier Than You Think (And More Beautiful)
The Cook Islands may only be 15 small islands, but they stretch across an area of the South Pacific the size of India, and with about 100,000 visitors a year, you’d think they’d be a little more, well, touristy. But think again. Though historically friendly to outsiders (maybe a little too much) these islanders cling to their Polynesian culture which there is probably no better example of then their songs and dances.
Above is a pretty good video, taken around the capital of Rarotonga. Stick around to 3:40 for the money shots of the beautiful coastline. Amazing to think that the nation is only a short 3.5 hour-flight from New Zealand.
