Now that the Grammy’s are over, we can go ahead and move behind the mediocrity that is mainstream music here in the U.S. and go back to enjoying the myriad amount of fun, interesting, enjoyable, and creative music being produced, or at least influenced by, the rest of the world.

World Hum’s put together this great list of the top six albums of 2008 from around the world, my favorite being the above song from New York’s own Forro in the Dark (who just happened to have the likes of David Byrne and Bebel Gilberto sitting in on a few songs — hard to go wrong there).
