Turkey Is The New Greece, But You Know, Cheaper
Turkey has become a popular getaway for many European travelers as the Euro has taken off in value over the last few years. But as this article discovers, it’s still relatively easy to get away from the coastal developments and see the rest of the country. From historic Cesme, Turkey’s western-most town, to beautiful Bodrum, a port town that feels more Greek than anything else, more and more people are heading to Turkey for their Greek island getaway.
(I tend to avoid linking to any articles where kids are involved in the trip, but I’m making an exception here. I really don’t care that your 12 year-old was bored. They’re 12 years old, of course they’re bored. Nothing’s lamer than a trip with the parents at that age, but don’t write about it in your article.)
