With a full decade of war behind it, Croatia’s islands have fast become one of Europe’s premier summer party destinations, attracting everyone from well-heeled celebrities to the down-and-dirty underground dance music crowd, all in search of good times, good music, and an escape from the crowds that descend on Europe’s other party islands such as Mykonos and Ibiza. For the the more traditional nightlife scene, Hvar is home to numerous bars, terraces, and discos catering to the thousands of visitors that call this island home in the late summer.
