It has been interesting to watch since I first wrote the post. Right now I'd say Iran probably has the best outlook but the turn around in the other places could come quickly with the right conditions.

The most dangerous thing about visiting seems to be the traffic. But it's true, there should be a greater tourist presence than there is now.
