Coming To Your Next Flight: Pilots Serving Your Meal

Ahead of an impending strike at British Airways this March, it was learned today that the airliner is preparing to sub their normal attendants with employees from around the company.
Per the NYT, “British Airways began Monday to teach employee volunteers, including engineers and pilots, how to serve meals, conduct safety demonstrations and sell duty-free goods on a flight if the attendants walk off the job.”
Pilots have to be at the top of my list of workers I do not want to be disgruntled. Not that flight attending is a bad job, but something tells me they may be a little more than miffed by this.
