Airline Logo Design 101: Stick A Bird On Your Plane
Ever notice the number of birds in airliner’s logos? This week LogoDesignLove takes a look at how, basically, every airliner in the world uses a bird in a circle as their logo. Lufthansa, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, etc . . .
I suppose it makes sense. I’m not sure how much faith you’d have in an airliner if its logo was something that clearly does not fly, like an ostrich or a blender. Okay, I would fly with a company that uses a blender for their logo, just for kicks, and I have a feeling they’d have really cheap fares.
