The Expeditioner’s April Photo Contest Finalists
With TheExpeditioner’s flickr group growing, it’s getting harder to decide between all the stunning snapshots. So, to give credit where due, TheExpeditioner would like to share the other photos that were under consideration for April’s Photo Contest. With no introduction necessary, April’s Photo Contest Finalists were, and in no specific order:
Ok. Maybe a slight introduction.
Using a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi, this shot, “Prayers“, was taken at the religious temple, Swayambhunath, in Kathmandu. The wheels are inscribed with a Buddhist mantra that aids in reaching enlightenment. You can find this and more shots on jrodmanjr’s flickr page.
Labelled as “Fish Sticks“, Jonny Gilbert demonstrates his skill with an Olympus E-1 to capture this image. This is only one of the many photos that were taken on his journey through China. You can access more of Jonny Gilbert’s photos on flickr or visually follow his adventures through his blog.
Join TheExpeditioner’s flickr Group and add some photos of your own — or just to look at pretty pictures. As a reminder, May’s Photo Contest Theme is landscapes, and, as always, it’s already looking to be a tough decision.
