You Are Invited To The Expeditioner Book Release Party/Reading

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

The day is finally here. Mark your calendars: Wednesday, December 8, 2010, A.D. — the release of’s first book: The Expeditioner’s Guide to the World: Intrepid Tales of Awesomeness from the Open Road.

If you happen to live in, be traveling near, or feel the need to book some last minute travel to New York City, please consider yourself invited to Lolita Bar at 7 p.m. for a very special book reading/release party celebrating the release of our highly-anticipated (well, to us at least) book.

The night will feature $3 beers until 9 p.m., readings by me (Matt Stabile), Luke Armstrong, and Jeffrey Tanenhaus, and stand-up comedy by Mike Barish. For more details please check out the Restless Legs Reading Series web site.

We’ll be running a little raffle for free books that night, and we will also be donating all proceeds from books sold that night to charity, so feel free to share this event with as many people as possible.

  • You guys rock! Congrats and happy to be part of the book. Wish I could have made it to the reading.

  • The book looks "proper". Best of luck with this!

  • Congrats! Can't wait to read the new book. Wish I could go to the reading/ book launch party. I'm sure it will be fun :)

  • Matt, the cover looks phenomenal. I hope Wednesday goes well.

  • Yeah, I especially love the picture of Jon Wick dressed like an Asian woman that we put on the cover.

    • not Jon Wick

He's the best looking geisha this side of the Mississippi River.

  • Agree with Candice – love what you've done with the cover, and the subtitle is sweet!

  • Freaking love the cover. Wish I were there for the party!

    • TheExpeditioner

I know, come on, it's a short car drive, right?

      • Hmm, if I leave today, I just might make it…

  • papertrail23

Congratulations! Sorry I'll be out of town and will miss the party, but hope it's wonderful! Enjoy your accomplishment.

  • brokenrecordbaby

Congratulations, you guys! Wish I could be back in NY for the party. Will it be available on Amazon or book shops in London?

    • TheExpeditioner

Well, it will definitely be available via Amazon and other online retailers. We hope it will also soon be available in bookstores, but that has yet to be determined. Keep an eye out for the Amazon link within a few days.

  • Sweet job, you guys! I would write a book, but that sounds hard.

  • Jude Polotan

Congratulations, Matt, and count me in for next week!

  • Nice! Congrats, guys!!
