Anthony Bourdain will be taking a break from post-production on Season 7 and speaking in New York City at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at this store called Barnes & Noble that reportedly sells paper versions of books (in person, not online). He’ll be at the Union Square location on 17th Street (between Broadway and Park Avenue) in support of the paperback release of Medium Raw.
And as an extra treat, Tony mentioned on his Facebook page that outside the building you will find the New York-famous “Big Gay Ice Cream Truck” helmed by Mrs. Bourdain herself (from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.). And if you needed any more good reason to check out the event and stuff your mouth with ice cream, all tips collected that day by the truck will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
