Okay, I know that most of you readers here at The Expeditioner are hostel-goers, myself included, but let me tell you about these things called “hotels.” They’re these giant structures where travelers can sleep — just like in a hostel — but in these “hotels” the bathrooms are magically cleaned every day, you don’t need to wear flip-flops in the shower, you can sleep all night without having to use ear plugs, and sometimes, if you’re lucky, when you come back in the middle of the day, you’ll find a free chocolate or two on your pillow. Brilliant!
So in honor of The Expeditioner Travel Video Week, we’re giving away a 3-night/4-day stay at the San Juan Marriott, Puerto Rico, where you can experience a “hotel” yourself!
If my video gets the most “Likes,” then I’ll randomly (or whoever bribes me the most) choose someone from The Expeditioner’s Facebook page to win the free hotel stay.
And remember, my video has to win, so why not tell your friends, families, dentist, obstetrician, butcher, and in-house sommelier to vote as well?
The winner will be announced September 1, 2011.
This just in: If you win, not only will you win the free hotel stay, but Contributing Editor Luke Armstrong will personally call you via Skype and sing you a Jack Johnson or Bob Marley song on his guitar. He will also be wearing a sombrero. We will also be recording this.
