It Snowed In Rome? [Videos]


If you hadn’t heard, Rome — that bastion of Mediterranean sun — was hit by its first snowstorm in 26 years (8 inches to be exact), causing schools to be closed, taxi drivers to stay home and videographers to take to the streets to catch the rare site of snow falling on the Coloseum and snowmen lounging in the shadow of Saint Peter’s Basilica.

My recommendation is to get under a pile of warm blankets and enjoy.
