The Most Extreme Time-Lapse Video Ever: Planet Earth [Video]

Forget artsy time-lapse travel videos of market vendors in Hanoi, sunsets over the Manhattan skyline or commuters crossing the street in Tokyo. A new bar has been set in the world of time-lapse videos, and it comes from Tomislav Safundžić of Croatia, who combined images taken from the International Space Station to create the ultimate in time-lapse videos: earth. Way to start off with a small subject for your first video Tomislav.

Highlight: Check out the aurora borealis at :55, which puts the final sequence in 2001 to shame.
