In the summer of 2012, film and video production company Mammoth Media, based near Kansas city, was hired by the Rwandan tourism department to produce a promotional video. You know, the kind of video you see in airport terminals and welcome centers all around a country — which they did. But what to do with all that great extra footage they still had on their hard drives that didn’t make the final cut?
They decided to take it and create the above video, a spectacular mash-up featuring the shots of the country’s eclectic wildlife, the lush countryside and the wide variety of people that call this country home.
