Here’s Your Chance To Win The Best Dive Job Ever
Becoming a dive instructor in Bali would be like hitting the jackpot in the job lottery, but unlike winning an actual lottery, you wouldn’t have to deal with a bunch of little-known third cousins coming out of the woodwork asking you to fund their pet iguana business idea they’d been thinking about for years.
To help you on your way of landing that dream job, Indonesia-based diving company Blue Season Bali recently announced their third annual “Best Dive Job in the World” contest, the winner of which will be hired to become a full-time trainer and live and work with them in 2015.
To enter, contestants need to submit a 90-second video based on the theme: “Why I want to be a professional PADI dive instructor and win the Best Dive Job in the World.” The competition runs from August 1 — October 31.
In November 2014, Blue Season Bali will select eight finalists to travel to Bali where they will go through a 6-week-long training and become certified PADI Divemasters. Once the candidates have finished their training, they will then face various challenges during a final elimination week to determine a winner.
The final winner will get the grand prize: A package which includes all training necessary to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, free accommodation while in training, full set of Aqualung equipment, teaching materials, and best of all, a full-time work contract with Blue Season Bali.
