I think one of the most rewarding aspects of world travel is the appreciation that we gain for our own lives and the spaces that we live them in. I was so glad to see you express this idea positively. I often hear people approach the same idea but from a place of negativism. They return from abroad, raving about how wonderful their home is in comparison to the foreign one they just 'endured.' Thank you for recognizing and sharing the beauty (even the mundane beauty) that you see wherever you go.
