Taiwan´s Space Oddity

Thursday, December 17, 2009

It has been a couple of years since I went gallivanting around the northern regions of Taiwan. However, just recently, I found out about this rare, bizarre, eerie housing complex just outside of Taipei. I am kicking myself that I didn´t find out about it sooner so that I could see it for myself.

It was built in the late 70´s or early 80´s (date is still debated) in San Zhi for affluent families from Taipei. Construction was never completed due to varying theories (also, still debated). There is not much information on it, but I would be interested if anyone does have any.

If you are ever in Taiwan and want to see something most people don´t, get to this spot and let me know how it was.
