It raises some random thoughts of mine, for the sake of discussion. If a company consistently brings in people (tourists) to staff their volunteer opportunities, long term, does that make it a sustainable venture? Perhaps it's the molding of "a great spring break trip" with a cause "deeply rooted in the community's needs." It's hard not to encourage volunteering, but I see valid points on both sides. I like to think this is a stepping stone to a greater good.
