Hmmm, Russia and UAE would probably not agree with that. Turkey is kind of in the middle, but given they’re trying to join the EU, I’d say they consider themselves more European than anything:

I think the point was to focus on countries that aren’t the traditional Asian ESL countries (China, South Korea, etc…)
