Brilliant photos :)

I do miss those old skool car road trips we took as a fam when I was younger. Now I find my wife and I motorbiking around places or doing the walking or public transportation bit. Still loads of fun, but it is not the same as an old fashioned road trip.

Hop in the car, plan loosely, then go. Get lost. Get a bit more lost ;) Then make your way back to the original path, soaking up the sights and sounds along the way, making sure to grab as many cookies and sweet treats as possible too. Goodness I think those sweet treat up top look fabulous.

Ya gotta love the seals as well. Seeing these guys – and gals – up close and personal would be a thrill of the trip and of my life because though I have seen ’em in zoos, enjoying them in the wild would be even more thrilling. Especially these guys, the largest seals on earth I believe. Elephant seals are monstrously large, and those males are pretty darn territorial too, with their fangs and fights and such. Always recall seeing them go at it while watching nature shows as a wee lad :)
