This reminds me of teaching Ecology in upstate NY. When kids come up from the city for the first time, they are blown away by the sight of dear! But then quickly they become much less interested. But they’re always thrilled to see any kind of predator… which are seen with less frequency. I suppose it’s supply and demand. haha. anyway thanks for the good read.

And next time you’re on safari, check out these incredible spots in Kruger National Park! Cheers! http://www.adventure-life.com/articles/south-africa-tours-and-safari-lodges-1098

At the start of our African safari, we too were totally excited to see impala. But by the end of our trip, we also were like everyone else – hohum, another impala. We were also very fortunate to see a lion kill. You can read our post on “Wonder Where the Lions Are” http://www.sandinmysuitcase.com/wonder-lions/
