]]>Here is a list of the top 10 fastest Wi-Fi speeds (as calculated by Mbps download speed) in airports around the world.
The list, compiled by Rottenwifi.com, was constructed by testing 130 airports in 53 countries around the world.
Their testing found that Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), in Bangkok, Thailand, provides the fastest average public Wi-Fi download speed worldwide at 41.45 Mbps, with Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) in Tennessee, coming in at second with 30.98 Mbps.
Rounding out the top five were Dublin, Vilnius and Helsinki airports.

If you’re a fully-employed American reading this right now, I’d advise you to quickly go to another page, perhaps a YouTube video of a mother cat hugging a baby kitten. Above is a chart of the the top 13 countries in the world ranked by number of paid vacation days they have per year (including bank holidays). And no, the U.S. isn’t even close to this. Below are the countries by rank.

According to the most recent statistics from the World Tourism Organization, the top 10 most visited countries in the world was unchanged in order from 2008, with France leading the way, welcoming 74.2 million international travelers in 2009, a decrease of 6.3% from the previous year.
As can be seen in the graphic above, the United States came in second with 54.9 million visitors, followed by Spain (52.2 million), China (50.9 million) and Italy (43.2 million). Rounding out the top ten were the U.K., Turkey, Germany, Malaysia and Mexico.
Interestingly, though coming in as second, the U.S. is first in amount of money spent by visitors, with Australia and Austria breaking into the top ten using this metric. I’m going to go out on a limb here and theorize that the Disney parks’ snack bars are wholly responsible for this anomaly.
