The Expeditioner Presents (Episode 2): Guatemala with Luke Armstrong
In the second episode of The Expeditioner Presents, I sit down with Luke Armstrong to discuss Guatemala. Luke backpacked his way through Latin America after college and ended up in Guatemala for several years working as the director for La Asociación Nuestros Ahijados, so he knows the country well.
Luke and I recount our recent travels together throughout the country, including trips to Antigua, Lake Atitlan, Tikal and Semuc Champey, and discuss Luke’s future plans for a new charitable organization centered around empowering local volunteers with strong oversight to maximize results. We’re also just about to start barbecuing in my backyard, hence the informal attire.
