They are almost over the top sweet though with the amount of honey and syrup used. Luckily, that means you don’t need to eat a massive amount of dessert. A few bites will do you! I especially love pistachio, so any dessert involving them is alright by me.
We ate some weird desserts at a spot on the Asia side of Istanbul, which included olives, tomatoes and walnuts completely candied. An interesting combo to say the least.
