This is precisely what I love about it! Whether you’re visiting for the treks, for a chance to relax on the beach, for the cultural activities, or even for a combination of all, you’ll always find something to suit your needs. Not to mention what you already pointed out – you can do A Lot for free – … And the locals are simply amazing! I never get enough of their energy and passion for being outdoors :)

Hi Matt,

Timely! We’ll be in Sydney on Tuesday as we’re flying from Nadi, Fiji to Bali, with Sydney as a stopover. We’ll have a full day there; plenty of things to do, and time to spend, in quite an awesome city. Our prior trip 4 months ago was WAY too short. Landed at 7 PM, off to our hotel, grabbed some McD’s, had a light walk, then up and at ’em at 3 AM for an early flight to Fiji. Much longer stay this time as we’ll be in town for a full day before heading on to Bali.

Australia is just a plain fab place to visit. So much to do in such a neat spot, you’re literally overwhelmed with options in a place like Sydney. We only chilled by the airport – our hotel was by the hangar where the private planes are parked – so not much to do way outside of the city proper. Even there though, it wasn’t half bad compared to most cities. They even had a Krispy Kreme, which was kinda neat….the last one I saw was in Bangalore, about a year ago to the date.

The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is one of my favourite things about Sydney, it is such a beautiful walk. I am missing it all a lot at the moment and hope to be back there again soon xo
