Staying at a beach hotel in Thailand presents all sorts of really tough choices to travelers such as: Should I stay at a the bamboo hut hotel located directly on the beach or at the mangrove bungalow hotel with towering views of the sea? I know, life is tough in this part of the world.
To help you narrow down your decision, The Guardian confusedly put out a list of their top 10 budget beach hotels in Thailand, as well as a second list of their top 10 budget beach hotels in Thailand (part one and part two respectively).
I know, I know, doesn’t it defeat the very purpose of putting together a “Top 10” list if you’re going to, I don’t know, make it a “Top 20” list? But alas, you’re browsing around for beach hotels in Thailand, stop bothering with semantics and focus on what matters, such as which property has the closest proximity to wild monkeys, or which one is the just the right distance from the closest full moon party so that it allows you easy access to said party, but is also just far enough away that you don’t smell vomit the next morning.
