I love this video of Japan from AmnesiArt, a cinematic tour of the island nation featuring shots from Kyoto to Tokyo.

Having only been to Tokyo myself (on a rushed 8-hour layover), the images I see of the rest of Japan from those that have visited drive home the contrast of the country between the hyper-modern metropolises and the rural solitude the people hold so dearly (for obvious reasons). The best of both worlds, inhabited by a people that know how to cherish both.
