Here’s What A Road Trip From Anchorage Looks Like
Here’s a great video from Vimeo user HappyPapaya taken from his (her?) trip to Chugach State Park, the stunningly beautiful, 495,000-acre state park located just south of Anchorage, Alaska, along the coastline.
The westernmost boundary of the park is in the western foothills of the Chugach Mountain Range and, amazing, is a mere seven miles to the east of downtown Anchorage. The last time I checked, if you go seven miles from the downtown of pretty much any other major city in the U.S. you’re much more likely to run into a Panera than a brown bear. This, my friends, is Alaska.
