This week’s travel section<\/a> highlighted the Chilean port city of Valpara\u00edso where, with over 40 new restaurants in Cerro Concepci\u00f3n and Cerro Alegre alone, the city’s foodie scene is firmly in resurgent mode.<\/p>\n “Unesco made Valpara\u00edso\u2019s historic quarter a World Heritage Site in 2003, and the dining scene has since evolved to match the romantic allure of the city, with its battered cobblestones and crumbling 19th-century mansions.”<\/p>\n
